iTaoBuy, the agent that places the seller order
Who signs the contract, what the counterfeit policy says, why you might pick iTaoBuy for an order you want to trace, and when another agent suits you better.

Three company names on three kinds of document
iTaoBuy is a shopping agent that buys from Taobao, Weidian and 1688 for overseas buyers and ships the goods on from Guangdong. On its Terms of Use and Contact Us page the contract is with UK Sell Good Things Technology Co., Limited, registered in England under 16174547, at Chase Business Centre, 39-41 Chase Side, London, an address the terms mark “(This is not a returning address)”.
The UK company register lists SELL GOOD THINGS TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED under that number as active, incorporated on 10 January 2025, with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London. The app, on both the App Store and Google Play, is published by a third name, HK Sell Good Things Technology Co., Limited, with a Hong Kong address.
The terms are governed by UK law, with the courts of England and Wales. Their release date is 10 March 2025 and the help system records the last edit on 31 August 2026.

The counterfeit policy, in three sentences
iTaoBuy's Anti-Counterfeiting Policy is dated 8 April 2025 and linked from the footer of every page. Three of its sentences settle where it stands: “The purchase of counterfeit products is strictly prohibited.” Then the consequence: the account and related accounts can be suspended or closed, and items held in its fulfilment centres disposed of “at your expense”. And the channel: counterfeit complaints go to [email protected].
The same position appears in its two prohibited-goods lists and in the order disclaimer you agree to at checkout. This site follows it: no shelf, card or example here points at copies of branded goods, and the source order check is about getting the listing you chose, not about what a listing claims to be.
If a listing you are considering uses a brand name it plainly is not, leave it.

Why choose iTaoBuy for an order you want to trace
Start with what every agent of this kind does: buy from Chinese marketplaces, receive at a warehouse, photograph, store and ship. On those basics iTaoBuy is like its peers, with published storage rules and an eligible five-day return policy whose exclusions and fees still matter.
What differs is the paper trail on the buying side. iTaoBuy publishes a service table with a time for each ordering step, offers Fill&Buy for listings its product page cannot read, and since October 2025 shows the seller order's transaction ID on each order. If checking that you got the listing you picked matters to you, those three are the reasons to choose it.
Choose someone else if you need a site in Italian, Polish or German (iTaoBuy's interface offers English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Chinese), if you want the warehouse city named, or if you want to see a full order page before signing up.

Six tests of an agent, run before sign-up
Comparing agents usually turns into comparing prices. Price matters, but a trustworthy agent can be recognised by things you can check before spending anything. Does it name the company you contract with, and can you find that company in a public register? Does it publish how long each step takes? Does it show you a reference for the seller order, so you can see what was bought?
Three more: are return rules and their fees written down, does it say what happens to counterfeit goods, and does it name a support route and reply target? iTaoBuy publishes material relevant to each of these checks, with two caveats from this site's reading: its company appears under three names and two London addresses, and the order page itself is only visible after login.
Run the same six questions on any agent you consider, including the ones on the next section's list.

Agents, forwarders and the kinds in between
Other agents are never far away: iTaoBuy is one of many that buy from the same Chinese platforms, and you will see others named on catalogue sites, in forums and in videos. They differ less in what they can buy than in how they charge and what they show you: a fixed service fee per order or a margin inside the exchange rate, a named warehouse city or not, a published photo count or not.
Some run their own marketplace beside the agent service, and some are forwarders only, which means you buy from the seller yourself and they receive and ship. With a forwarder there is no source order to check, because you placed it.
When you compare, ask the question this site is built on: will the agent show you which seller order it placed for you? Few publish that as plainly as iTaoBuy's October 2025 notice does.
